Do you have a little time?

This was a fun project. Perhaps my family and friends missed me for a few evenings, but I hope they can enjoy this game now.

As someone who loves point & click adventures, music and silly time travel plots, it was a joy to have complete creative freedom for a few days to deliver the best quality I could for this game and make it as enjoyable as possible in my native language.

Especially when it comes to dialogue, I find it really fun to immerse myself in the process of learning who these characters are - a grumpy (allegedly) 15-year-old girl, a quirky inventor uncle, a serious (but no always) obsessed collector, and most importantly: THE BAND! - a set of characters for whom I'm eternally thankful, since they resulted in hilarious dinners with my parents in which I endlessly inquired them about 60s slang. Maybe I went overboard with the 60s-ness, but I had a blast.

Also, this being my second LocJAM, I finally had the opportunity to try my hand at editing graphical elements, which consisted of: a stylized title, a gif banner with said title and a poster.

The title and the banner were relatively painless to figure out, but the same can't be said for the poster, ironically. Considering the poster was part of a visual gag in the game, related to what Ines says, I had to find something that could be written inside the bounds of the poster, while still looking good (like a poster of an album cover would). Since Portuguese tends to be a wordy language, my solution was to add a few pixels increasing the width of the poster, as to make sure the low resolution letters would fit in a visually pleasing way.

That's it for this postmortem! Let me know what you think and, if you also participated in this LocJAM, I hope you had a blast too!
